Grenada’s health minister, Nikolas Steele, continues pleading with Grenadians to get vaccinated from the dangers of COVID-19.
As of yesterday March 23 Grenada is on record vaccinating 9,701individuals, which, according to the Health Minister, is behind the country’s OECS neighbors whose vaccination numbers are significantly higher.
Steele is saying that Grenada’s vaccination total translates to roughly 1,800 vaccinations per week, and, at that rate, it may be another 9 months before the country can see any form of normalcy.
He’s hoping things can change within the next 10 weeks time.
Minister Steele also spoke of Vaccination Week which will be held next month April 24 to 28.
He’s issuing a challenge to everyone to get vaccinated.
