Teachers At TAMCC continued their daily hourly protest around the institution today, as they continue to clamour for salary increases and for increment owed to them to be paid.
TAMCC had sent out a release that it recently concluded payments of increments owed to faculty and staff for the period 2013-2018.
TAMCC has given an undertaking to fulfill the payment of the balance of the outstanding increments for the period 2019-2021 by the end of the year 2022 and remains committed to open dialogue to address salary and other issues.
One lecturer at TAMCC, Antonia Cadore, says they also want to hold dialogue on the issues but TAMCC representatives are not showing any interest.
Cadore says they’ll continue their action until the issues are rectified.
