The Spice Inn Workers’ issue still remains in the balance and this morning their bargaining agent (TAWU) held audience with some employees updating them on moves being made to finding a solution.
The hotel, affected by the impact of COVID-19, is said to be on the verge of re-opening.
However, there are workers who are not opting to be reinstated and are appealing to be compensated.
This is the crux of the matter, which will again be discussed with the Minister of Labour, according to TAWU President General, Andre Lewis.
Lewis says the Hotel is aware there are employees who do not wish to return.
