The Ministry Of Infrastructure, Public Utilities, Civil Aviation and Transportation has sent out notice to the public about a road closure.
It says the section of the Eastern Main Road from the
Roundabout at Springs to Upper Woburn Road commonly referred to as the Cliff Road, St. George’s, will be temporarily closed to vehicular traffic.
That is on Saturday 27th January through to Sunday 28, from 9 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon on both days.
The closure is reported to be necessary to facilitate preparatory works for the reconstruction of the road.
The public, particularly motorists, are advised to use alternative routes on the dates and times scheduled.
