The Grenada Movement non-governmental organization wants to see the staging of an independent Commission of Inquiry under the Commission of Inquiries Act so as to ascertain the real picture of the latest COVID Spike in Grenada.
It issued a statement on the subject today, indicating that it was in total solidarity with the affected individuals who are severely hurt in the process, especially where they are burdened by a feeling of hopelessness.
TGM implores the Governor General to use her good office to ensure that the inquiry happens and that answers are given to the People of Grenada and even more importantly to ensure, through this Inquiry that any reckless acts which contributed to the health crisis never happen again in Grenada.
TGM believes that the exemptions to the Covid-19 protocols that have been extended to four separate hotels, including Sandals Grenada, constitute callous disregard for the People of the Nation.
