The Island’s lone water company, NAWASA, laments on the burning issues of challenges being faced by the current dry season.
The Caribbean Institute for Meteorology and Hydrology (CIMH) recently indicated that Grenada has been experiencing a drought period over the past 3 months.
Speaking to members of the media today, NAWASA’s Acting General Manager, Terrence Smith, explained the challenges the company currently faces.
Manager of Transmission and Distribution, Ernest Bruno, says the impact of the dry season is severe and that the entire water supply system is compromised due to the prolonged dry conditions.
