On Saturday, March 25, 2023, eighteen (18) young ladies auditioned for the opportunity to represent their parish at Spicemas 2023 National Carnival Queen Pageant.
The auditions were held at the Trade Center where participants were assigned a casting number and appeared before the judges who were tasked to assess their Elegance, Poise & Carriage; Physical Fitness/Body Confidence; Diction & Use of Language; Stage Presence/Personality; Impact & Creativity.
Each of the parishes were represented:
St. Andrew – 2 representatives
St. David – 3 representatives
St. George – 8 representatives
St. John -2 representative
St. Mark – 1 representative
St. Patrick – 1 representative
Carriacou – represented by the Reigning Queen.
The seven (7) young ladies who will represent their parish, are now one step closer to the crown. Stay tuned to find out who will be vying for the title.
