The National Bus Association (NBA) says it wants to be a part of the seven-member Grenada Transport Commission. And, it doesn’t take kindly to the Government’s decision of not allowing a representative to sit on the Commission.

The commission is expected to be in charge of regulating the transportation sector in Grenada and tenets of its formation were taken through formalities in the Senate recently.

The membership of the Bus Association is insisting it needs need to be part of such a Commission, as it significantly impacts the livelihood of many bus owners and operators, as we hear from its president, Garth Woodruff.

Woodruff says the work of the association in running the bus transportation sector is vital.

Woodruff says the over saturation and under saturation of buses on some routes need urgent attention.
