Grenada’s Social Workers are being commended for braving the challenges in their day-to-day duty.
This, on the observance today of World Social Work Day, which is held under the theme, “Respecting Diversity Through Joint Social Action”.
On the occasion, Minister of State with responsibility for Social Development and Gender Affairs, Gloria Thomas, noted that the World is moving in a direction where people need to become more inclusive, breaking down walls that prevent the realization of the social development agenda.
Saluting the Nation’s social workers, Gloria Thomas sees it as a time today for reflection.
