It’s been a journey staving off challenges of the “ups and downs” and, so far, the entity, which has offered the Grenadian public a unique brand of broadcasting, has made it successfully, and continually, cements its place at the top of the rankings.

Wee Fm began operations at its Gouyave location in the year 2000, in collaboration with the Fisherman’s Birthday celebration.

Two decades and three years on, Management and Staff are today clad in their Blue WEE Fm branded T-Shirts, remembering the road all have travelled.

The mood with the Nation’s listeners on our side was punctuated with the significance of the theme for the 2023 celebrations, One Team, One Family, One Station, celebrating 23 Years”.

And the airwaves today were filled with the celebratory mood, as the Wee Fm family continues dishing out the best Grenadian vibes, consistent on the 93.3/93.9 frequencies.

In the early morning “Plead Your Cause” programme with Patrick “Shaggy” Duncan, we were greeted with the 23rd anniversary celebratory pleasantries.

Wee FM broadcasters, DJ’s, engineers Management and secretarial staff and well-wishers were with the height of activities outside the Esplanade Mall for several hours of the day, accompanied by the greatest of the Grenadian artistes.

Since its inception, the nation’s artistes have found a household friend for the promotion of their music out of the establishment of a friendly family relationship.

The public got a taste of what it really is.
