There Isn’t Any Record Of Active Covid-19 Cases In Grenada At The Moment

Word from the Ministry of Health is that currently there are no active COVID-19 cases in Grenada.

In its second COVID status report in a fortnight, Grenada’s position remains the same, as it relates to active cases.

That’s according to Health officials here in the latest COVID-19 dashboard release.

Grenada’s total confirmed cases stand at 148 with 70 imported cases, and a total of 147 recoveries, with 1 death recorded.

To date, a total of 21,454 RT-PCR tests have been conducted.

Currently, 179 persons are in quarantine facilities.

We have already informed you that Grenada is into its COVID vaccination programme, with the country having received some 6,000 does of the Astra/Zeneca vaccines.

From the Ministry of Health, we hear that some 146 persons have received the 1st dose.

Public Relations Officer at the Ministry of Health, Keville Fredrick, says Environmental wardens’, nurses, doctors and staff at St. George’s University received their vaccine at the General hospital yesterday.
