Grenadians will tomorrow see the safe restart of the 2021-2022 cruise industry.
That pronouncement today by Tourism Minister Dr. Clarice Modeste.
She was engaging reporters at a news conference relative to jump-starting the tourism industry which was severely impacted by COVID-19.
The Tourism Minister says the over two hundred cruise calls are expected to attract thousands of visitors to Grenada’s shores.
Minister Modeste says to see the effectiveness of this year’s cruise season, vaccination is the way to go.
She says one of the key priorities for visitors is safety and security.
