MP for the town of St. George, Hon. Peter David, calls on the Grenada Government to complete the River Road Flood Mitigation project.
The project was stalled a few months after the coming into office of the new NDC administration.
David, at this week’s House of Representatives meeting, looked at the River Road project on account of arguments put forward during debate pertaining to a resolution for the increase of a 50-dollar fee on motor vehicle licenses.
Government MPs claimed it would help much in fixing roads, bridges and other infrastructure, as further indicated by the MP for St. Patrick East, Hon. Denis Cornwall.
In response, MP David, called for the continuation of the River Road Project.
