We have a report that twelve Grenadian students have earned a place on the Dean’s list at Western Illinois University in the USA for the spring 2024 semester.
The undergraduate students, part of a growing cohort at the university, all earned a grade point average (GPA) of 3.6.
Several of the students earned a perfect 4 for the semester.
The students are all seniors:- • Noah Marcus Lessey, Rashelle Kendia Jael Bowen, Kendra C.E. John,
Lene Samara Mitchell, Carlene Keiana Alexander, Kamal Johnaton Arele Mark, Aaliyah G. Knight, La Ditra K. R. Mason, Sherdell Rolanda St. Clair, Josh Michael Alexander, Charielle Rae-Len Bubb and Whitney Chrysti Bowen.

According to a release, Grenadian and other Caribbean students in the growing regional cohort continue to excel academically.
More than 50 students from the sub-region were placed on the Spring ‘24 Dean’s List.
University Provost, Mark Mossman, has noted that the institution sees the Caribbean as its primary area for building a successful international undergraduate programme.
He puts into context the positive reports from professors on their outstanding dedication to academics.
Grenadian students typically begin their studies online before completing them on campus in the United States.
Western Illinois University Scholarships are based on local college or Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE) achievement and cover a high percentage of tuition for strong students.
Top students can compete for the International Presidential Scholarship, which provides a full tuition
scholarship.
