A 22-Year-Old, Behavioral Therapist of California, USA, Nihit Gurram, made his first court appearance this morning.
Gurram was charged with Manslaughter by Unlawful Harm, for causing the death of Siri Va-ish-navi (Man-tea-na) Mantena, a 22 year- old, Student of India.
The incident which resulted in the death of Miss (Man-tea-na) Mantena occurred on March 17th 2024, at Grand Anse, St. George.
Appearing in Court today, Gurram was granted 100 thousand dollars bail, with two sureties.
He’s said to have handed in his travel documents to the court.
Gurram is to report to the South St. George Police station between the hours of 6am and 6pm Monday and Friday.
He’s ordered not to leave Grenada without expressed permission from the Court.
Nihit Gurram is due back in court on the 30th of July, 2024.
