Scores of Grenadians will in the coming days benefit from the upcoming visit by the US Navy medical mission to Grenada.
The mission commences tomorrow through to September 24 aboard the Burlington.
During its visit, the US Navy medical teams will work alongside Grenadian medical personnel to provide care in community clinics to increase medical readiness, strengthen partnerships, and enhance the combined capabilities of the US Navy and Grenadian officials to respond to public health disasters and humanitarian crises.
US Embassy Grenada Principal Officer Frances Herrera was a guest on the ministry of Health morning programme “The Next Chapter” with host Keville Frederick.
Expressing gratitude to the team on the initiative, Medical Director Dr. Tyhiesia Donald says the ministry is looking forward to the mission.
Dr. Donald says a Health fair will be held as part of the mission.
