The Vector Control Division of the Ministry of Health is calling for public cooperation as it continues fogging operations in the South of the island.

It says it’s a matter of minimizing the incidence of Dengue Fever currently on the rise.

It says this phase of fogging will target areas of suspected and confirmed dengue cases.

The Ministry of Health is urging individuals to cooperate with the fogging teams by opening their homes to allow fog to enter.

Fogging will be conducted at Frequente and environs today; tomorrow Tuesday, April 20, Calliste and Environs; Wednesday, April 21, Calliste and Environs, including the MBIA and the SSU Camp.

Fogging continues Thursday 22nd April at True Blue and Environs and the following day, Dusty Highway and Environs.

Fogging activities begin 4 in the afternoon and the Vector Division is advising individuals who usually experience respiratory difficulties to stay away from the fog or inform the team of such conditions.

Beekeepers are also asked to inform the team of any bee- keeping activities in the areas where fogging is to be conducted to contact the fogging team at 440-2095.
