Two St. Vincentian nationals Wilbert Small and Ryan Baptiste have pleaded guilty to the charge of money laundering.
Small and Baptiste were nabbed while attempting to board the Osprey on the Carenage (St. George’s) on May 3rd with a quantity of Eastern Caribbean Currency dollars in excess of fifty thousand.
Both men who reappeared at the St. George’s Magistrate’s Court today were fined ten thousand dollars each.
The monies were confiscated.
Small and Baptiste who entered the State illegally are currently awaiting deportation to their homeland.
