Queens Park Rangers, Shamrock, Sab Spartans and Paradise FC International are the remaining teams making it to the quarter-finals in the 11th edition of the Waggy T Super Knockout football competition.
They all qualified from the Round-of-16 matches played on the week-end.
Queens Park Rangers defeated Eagles Super Strikers 2-1;
First half goals by Deanroy Phillip, Denron Frederick and Daniel Toussaint gave Shamrock the edge 3-1 over Mt. Rich, which netted in the 66th minute through Ahkim Phillip.
A hatrick by Saydrel Lewis and 1 goal by Stefforn Abraham pushed Paradise FC International 4-nil into the quarter-finals over St. John Sports and Sab Spartans got through 4-2 over the National Under-17 team.
For Sab Spartans, there were goals by Jimel Richards, Darren Modoo, Holden Simon and Jason Williams.
Shonnil Belfon and Trey John netted for the National Under-17 team.
The quarter final fixtures for the upcoming week-end brings together FC Camerhogne and St. David…the first game Saturday at 6pm, followed by Fontenoy and Hurricanes.
On Sunday, Sab Spartans will play Queens Park Rangers in game 1, followed by Paradise FC International and Shamrock.
