WEE-FM, (Grenada Wireless Communication Network Ltd), in collaboration with Mikey-Live Helping Hands Foundation, and the Grenada Bus Association, among others, are currently on a water drive to assist neighbouring St. Vincent and the Grenadines in its time of need as a result of the La Soufreire volcanic eruption.
The neighboring island is currently in dire need of water given the high volume of ash that was emitted into the atmosphere and has since contaminated its main water supply.
Wee Fm News Desk spoke with Mikey Hutchinson one of the announcers helping to organize the event.
Hutchinson says individuals who are unable to purchase the water themselves, but would like to make a donation, can do so at Wee Fm office on Cross Street in St. George’s.
