A 27-year-old student from St. John was today granted bail in the sum of twenty thousand dollars with one surety after appearing at the Gouyave Magistrate’s Court, charged with stealing by reason of employment.
Shonita Ambrose, a resident of Hills View in Gouyave, is accused of stealing in excess of 40-thousand dollars from a supermarket in her hometown.
The money was accumulated between 1st June and 31st August, 2017.
Shonita has been ordered to surrender all travel documents and to report to the Gouyave Police Station Monday to Friday between the hours of 7 in the morning and 6 in the evening.
She’s to re-appear in Court on the 14th of next month.
