The spring meetings of the Boards of Governors of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund are into their third day in Washington.
It brings together central bankers, ministers of finance and development, parliamentarians, private sector executives, representatives from civil society organizations and academics.
Their focus is on discussion of global economic issues, including the world economic outlook, poverty eradication, economic development, and aid effectiveness.
Grenada’s newly-appointed Finance Minister, Dennis Cornwall, is attending the meetings, which run through to Saturday, April 15.
The 23rd annual meeting of the two institutions, however, will be held in Morocco October 9 to 15, 2023.
