Youth senators finds their Commonwealth Day Observance debating session in Parliament yesterday very rewarding.
The Grenada Bus system was the essence of scrutiny whereas there’s no official time system currently under the National Bus Association.
The debaters argued the resolution for and against, “Be it resolved that a robust National Bus Shift system that caters to day and night, on week-days and weekends, including public holidays should be created and implemented by the Grenada Bus Association and stakeholders responsible for the management for the Bus Terminus”.
According to reports, students island-wide as well as the youth parliamentarian applauded the exercise.
Among persons listening the debate was the newly-appointed resident British Commissioner to Grenada, Victor Clarke, who noted that particular focus this year is being placed on opportunities for young people.
