Ministry Of Legal Affairs, Labour And Consumer Affairs Announces The Official Launch Of The Grenada Decent Work Country Programme

PR – The Ministry of Legal Affairs, Labour and Consumer Affairs  wishes to inform the general public and all stakeholders that the Official Launch and  Signing Ceremony of the Grenada Decent Work Country Programme (DWCP) 2026– 2031, will take place on Tuesday, 19th May 2026 The Grenada Trade Centre, Morne Rouge. Seating begins at 6:00 p.m. with the official start at 6:30 p.m. sharp.

The event will bring together representatives of Government, employers, and workers,  along with international partners, including the International Labour Organization (ILO),  for the formal signing of Grenada’s Decent Work Country Programme.

The Grenada Decent Work Country Programme is a key national policy framework that  will guide coordinated action to promote decent and productive employment, strengthen  labour market governance, enhance social protection, improve occupational safety and  health, advance skills development, and reinforce social dialogue over the period 2026– 2031.  

The Programme was developed through an extensive and inclusive tripartite process with  technical support and guidance from the ILO and represents a strategic framework aimed  at promoting decent work, social justice, and inclusive economic growth in Grenada through strengthened collaboration among its tripartite partners.

The public is invited to be part of this momentous occasion. All guests are kindly asked  to be seated promptly to facilitate the timely commencement of the ceremony.

The Ministry looks forward to the continued support and participation of stakeholders in  advancing the objectives of the Programme.
