The latest figure relative to active cases has jumped from 76 to 105.

Here’s how Acting Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Shawn Charles, explains it.

Dr. Shawn Charles says at this time, there’s a low-level degree of community spread.

There’s the scary feeling that when businesses are impacted on account of a cumulative number of people in the workforce being affected, things can become rather dicey, nearing collapse.

But, Dr. Charles expresses confidence that Grenada can get through this current COVID wave, once people seriously take up the responsibility at safeguarding themselves against the disease.

Based on the nature of the COVID positivity rate the country is experiencing, the Grenada Cabinet has made some adjustments to the Emergency regulations as it was outlined at the News Conference by Health Minister Nikolas Steele.
