Minister Of Finance, Gregory Bowen, today presented the country’s 2022 Budget, to the tune of 1 billion, 352 million, 210 thousand, 635 dollars, outlining key developments for the country’s economic recovery, which was jolted by the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Bowen says addressing the unparalleled health and socio-economic challenges caused by the pandemic remains a priority for the Government.
Bowen indicates that the Budget is a reflection of the process that recovery is to undertake with the challenges brought upon the Nation by the COVID-pandemic.
He says it has created macro-economic instability threatening to undermine years of social and economic progress.
Bowen says the Budget was crafted on the basis of innovation and valuable contributions from key stakeholders.
