Head of the RGPF Traffic Department, Superintendent Randy Connaught, is calling on motorists to exercise vigilance on the nation’s roads.

Superintendent Connaught says the RGPF has recorded a steady increase in accidents last year and statistics are worrying.

For the period January to November there were 2,347 accidents, an increase of 372 for the same period in 2020.

109 accidents have been recorded so far this month.

Superintendent Connaught says although the majority of accidents for the year were off a minor nature, the trend is cause for concern.
