The United States Southern Command today officially handed over two forty-bed field hospitals to the Government and people of Grenada.

Grenada and the United States of America share a special bond that spills over with benefits.

One of the field hospitals will be stationed on the Mainland and the other on the Sister Isles of Carriacou.

They’re to be used in the event of any national emergency such as the recent spikes of the coronavirus.

Director of Stabilization and Humanitarian Assistance at the US Southern Command Kevin Bostic says the field hospitals are to assist and to serve the people of Grenada with national emergencies.
