PR – The National Water and Sewerage Authority (NAWASA) advises consumers served by the Annandale Water System of the interruption in water supply on Tuesday July 19th, 2022, between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. on Wednesday July 20th, 2022.
The Annandale Water System serves consumers from Annandale, Constantine, New Hampshire through to River Road and extending to the entire south of the island.
Consumers are encouraged to collect and store water in clean covered containers prior to the interruption in supply taking into consideration the immediate needs of their family and pets.
Please also be advised that although the network will be reopened at 5:00 a.m. consumers in elevated areas may receive their supply within two (2) hours thereafter.
Motorists plying the Springs Road are advised that the repairs will be done in close proximity to SPS in Springs, St. George’s from 8:00 p.m. They are encouraged to use alternatives routes to get to their various destination, as there will be occasional delays in traffic.
The Authority apologizes for any inconveniences likely to be caused and thanks consumers for their patience as we work towards the delivery of a safe, adequate and reliable water supply.
