PR – The National Water and Sewerage Authority (NAWASA) advises consumers served by the Mardigras Cannes Water System that due to maintenance work on the treatment plant, their water supply will be interrupted between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday July 20th, 2022.
The Mardigras Water System serves consumers in Mardigras, Antoine Hill, St. Paul’s, Berrotte, Cobo Town, Bay Gardens, Africa, Mt. Parnassus, Morne Delice, Old Westerhall and surrounding communities.
Consumers are encouraged to collect and store water in clean covered containers prior to the interruption in supply taking into consideration the immediate needs of their family and pets.
Please also be advised that although the network will be reopened at 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday July 20th, 2022, consumers in elevated areas may receive their supply within two (2) hours thereafter.
The Authority apologizes for any inconveniences likely to be caused and thanks consumers for their patience as we work towards the delivery of a safe, adequate and reliable water supply.
