SPECKY SUNDAY SHOW AT RAINBOW CITY FESTIVAL 2022 SHAPING UP AS A BLAST

The Specky Sunday Show, a major feature of the Rainbow City Festival in St. Andrew, is shaping up this year to be a blast, 31stJuly.

This is according to the man who is on top of things preparing for the event, Grenadian veteran entertainer, Elimus Gilbert, (Inspector).

Inspector visited our studios recently saying that the signature color for the show is red.

He says carnival lovers will find it fantastic.

Inspector has won multiple titles on the entertainment circuit here but fans have not seen him on the competition stage for some time.

One would have thought Inspector’s position would have fallen on the arguments surrounding the artistes and their quest for attractive prize monies, but Inspector says that’s not the case.

Commenting on renditions on the musical scene, Inspector believes some young entertainers got to do some serious work, especially where the melody criterion is concerned.

Taking a look at the Rainbow City Festival and the rest of activities for the week, Pearls Saraka-“Breaking the Chains” will be Friday; the following Day will be the Big Parish Culinary Tour, Emancipation Party and the Rainbow City Wet Fete.

On July 31 will be the Frame Powder Fete, the Emancipation Church Service, an Exhibition, Kids Village, Bar Fest, Specky Sunday and the Black Rebels.

August 1 will be a Brunch; the Freedom Jump; a March and Jambalaisse Fest.

The theme for this year’s Rainbow City Festival and Emancipation Day festivity is “Resilient People Overcoming Challenges”.
