Christmas is right around the corner and the Grenada National Patient Kidney Foundation GNPKF is urging the public to be moderate when it comes to their intake of food and drink especially at this time of the year.
The foundation says individuals with chronic illness such as high blood pressure and diabetes need to pay particular attention in this regard.
Wee fm news spoke with Director of the GNPKF Patricia Bruno who indicated that persons should eat their foods in small portions which are very important at around this time.
Bruno gave a warning for persons who have health conditions and are on medication at this time to continue taking the recommended dosage as prescribed despite the season.
