The Grenada Association for Retired Persons (GARP) is in the process of sorting out much-needed medical supplies which will be distributed to various arms of the Ministry of Health, as well as several needy Individuals.
The distribution will be conducted by GARP, in collaboration with the Caribbean Canada Heart Health Education, which has partnered with International Hope Canada, for this undertaking.
Afzal Khan, the Treasurer of the Grenada Association of Retired Persons, in an interview with Wee Fm News, indicated that the venture has been three years in the making.
Khan speaks of the main institutions that will benefit from what he describes as a “worthy” venture.
Caribbean Canada Heart Health Education (CCHHE) is sending a Delegation to visit Grenada on the 22nd of this month.
