A campaign to raise awareness on the importance and benefits of frontal package labeling is currently ongoing here.
The campaign is being spearheaded by The Healthy Caribbean Coalition (HCC), a regional organization that works closely with regional and international leaders in non-communicable diseases prevention and control.

Member of the Grenada National Chronic Non-communicable Disease Commission, Dr. Sonya Nixon says it’s important that Grenadians understand what’s in the foods they’re consuming.
By October 14 Caricom countries will vote on the option of implementing health related warning labels on foods, and Dr. Nixon is optimistic that Grenada will vote yes for this implementation.
