Organizers of the 2024 Maroon and String Band Music Festival, which was held on the sister isles on the weekend, are hailing the event a success.
The 2024 Festival was held under the banner of “celebrating a cultural heritage’.
The tourism authorities’ representative on the Sister Isle, Rina Mills, tells Wee Fm News that the event was very successful.
Despite the challenges, Mills says 90% of the events started on time.
Looking ahead, organizers expressed their commitment to making the 2025 festival even greater.
