Day one of external component of the Caribbean Primary Exit Assessment (CPEA) is complete and students are gearing up for day 2, tomorrow.
Today’s exercise involved Maths and Social Science.
Tomorrow, the students will be presented with two more papers, Language Arts and Science.
The exam is being held at 59 centers throughout the State for the some 1,707 students registered for the assessment from 72 schools.
There are 845 males and 862 females taking the Exam, vying for places in the island’s secondary education institutions.
We understand that twenty-one schools throughout the tri-island state are taking the assessment online.
Today, emphasis was placed on Maths and Social Studies, with each paper being 75 minutes duration.
Tomorrow, the students will be presented with two more papers, Language Arts and Science.
