The Government of Grenada and the CARICOM Development Fund (CDF) have officially signed a grant agreement to support post-disaster recovery efforts following the passage of Hurricane Beryl.
Under this agreement, the CDF will provide grant funding of US$493,593 (approximately EC$1,322,829) to reimburse expenditures already incurred by the government in support of affected farmers and fisherfolk for essential recovery activities, including income support, land clearing, farm inputs, and repairs to damaged agricultural and fishing infrastructure.
The Government of Grenada remains committed to the full and sustainable recovery of the agricultural sector in the post-Hurricane Beryl period.
