Student Charged in Stabbing Death

A 16-year-old student has been charged with non-capital murder after the stabbing death of another pupil at a secondary school in St. George.

Zibon Flemming, 16, of Grand Anse, St. George was stabbed in the chest just after noon on Wednesday 23^rd November, 2016.He was pronounced dead on arrivalat the General Hospital.

An autopsy report revealed that he died as a result of hypovolemic shock and cardiac tamponade.

The 16 year old charged in his death appeared at the St. George’s Magistrate’s Court on Friday 25^th November, 2016 and was remanded to the Grand Bacolet Centre. He is due to reappear in Court on December 13^th.
