The semifinal round of the Subway Secondary Schools Basketball Championships 2018 took off this afternoon.
Game 1 saw Wesley College (WC) coming up against St. Andrew’s Anglican Secondary School (SAASS).
And Game 2 saw the Grenada Boys Secondary School (GBSS) coming up against Boca Secondary School (BSS).
Well have the result of those match in a subsequent sports cast.
in the eastern zone GBSS finished 1st with 7 wins zero loss and SAASS in second with 5 wins and 2 losses; this means that there will be a new champion crowned as Grenada Christian Academy (GCA) finished in the standings in 3rd.
While over in the West, Wesley College concluded in the top spot with 7 wins and zero loss and in 2nd was Boca Secondary with 6 wins and 1 loss.
The Girls Division Semifinals is scheduled for this Friday at the Carenage beginning at 2:00.
GAME 1 will see SJC St. George’s coming up against SJC Grenville
And in GAME 2: the Anglican High school will take on HHSS Purple Panthers
The finals are scheduled for February 5th in the girls division.
In the boys division the best of three will begin on February 2nd, 5th and 9th if necessary.
