Grenada’s Netballers Accomplish 2 Wins Thus Far In Regional Competition

Grenada’s netballers at the OECS/ECCB championships have so far conquered three games, which they have contested.

When things got underway in St. Vincent and the Grenadines on the week-end, Grenada defeated St. Lucia 64-39.

Reporters described St. Lucia going down in a disastrous fashion.

Grenada dominated the game throughout…12-7 in the first quarter, 29-20 at the half, 47-31 in the third and the final result with St. Lucia wilting under pressure.

Leading the way for the Spice Girls were, Goal Shoot Lottysha Cato with 56 from 66 attempts.

Grenada had 78 attempts at goal, scoring 82%, while St. Lucia managed 50 attempts, scoring 78%.

Grenada, meanwhile, were in winner’s row for yet another time.

Playing against Antigua/Barbuda, the Spice Girls won 59-30.

Today we have reports, that Grenada played Dominica and were victorious 63-35.

Lottysha Cato was again the star shooter scoring 40 out of 43 tries and Cecile Roberts 15 from 24 attempts.

At the end of three days of competition, Grenada heads the table with 6 points, followed by St. Vincent and the Grenadines on 4, and Antigua/Barbuda, St. Lucia and Dominica have a point each.
