The body of Andy Jones who’s believed to be in his early 50’s of St. Paul’s resurfaced in the Grand Etang Lake at around eleven this morning.
Wee FM news understands that on Monday, Jones who was at the time employed with Mc Intyre Brothers took one of the company’s vehicles and indicated he was going to show it to a customer in Grenville.
Word is that later that morning he was seen attempting to drive the same vehicle into the Grand Etang Lake, upon numerous failed attempts he proceeded to swim out into the waters and disappeared, his body resurfaced this morning.
Officers attached to the Royal Grenada Police Force were at the lake this morning preparing to do another routine search for Andy when the partially dressed body surfaced.
The body of Jones was taken out of the water by members of the RGPF in a small boat and then examined by a Doctor, before removal from the premises of the Grand Etang Lake.
Co-workers and family members were present following the discovery.
Wee fm news visited the site this morning and spoke with Jude Jones the brother of the deceased, who says they’re still trying to figure out what really happened.
