RESUMPTION OF COMMERCIAL flights from countries across the Caribbean region is geared at jump-starting the tourism industry.

This is the view of Tourism Minister, Dr. Clarice Modeste Curwen.

Flights resumed to and from Grenada as of yesterday scheduled mainly for countries across the Caribbean, deemed low risk from the coronavirus.

She says, having balanced priorities, Grenada is at the stage where it can begin opening up cautiously.

According to her, Grenada can open up for intra-regional travel from some countries within the Caribbean, but mostly charters in others, so that authorities can implement some kind of monitoring structure.
