The GFA Club Championship football is the first sport to resume in Grenada, after the sporting fraternity was grounded to a half in March because of a National fight against the Coronavirus.

With the resumption of football’s Club Championship, the Grenada Football Association has instituted several safeguards, in accordance with the health and safety protocols approved by the Ministry of Health.

It’s not opened to spectators in the physical location, but the games can be viewed on local television and on the GFA’s Facebook page and on Youtube.

The Club Championship is held at the Kirani James International Athletic and Football stadium, in bio-secure conditions.

The tournament has been pretty exciting and according to GFA Communications Officer, Neisha Peters, the final will be exceptional.
