Now that the hurricane season is over, it’s safe to say Grenada can count its blessings.
That’s contained in a message by Senator Winston Garraway, the Minister, under whose portfolio, the responsibility of NaDMA falls.
Grenada was not really directly impacted by any major weather system.
It was the busiest season on record, with 31 depressions, 30 off which developed into named storms…12 of which turned hurricanes, 5 off which were major systems.
Garraway, however, calls on Grenadians to be mindful of COVID-19 which has potential to unleash problems of a crisis nature.
