The Grenada Football Association has been informed via a letter circulating on social media of the purported restrictions issued regarding the staging of the final of the “Pure Grenada Cup”.

We wish to inform the general public that the 2020 edition of the “Pure Grenada Cup” was concluded on Saturday October 17th 2020.

The Grenada Football Association, GFA, was the first national association to complete its Covid-19 protocols and submitted to the committee for approval. We have continued to work closely with the Government of Grenada, Ministry of Health, Youth and Sports and other relevant stakeholders and is very committed to working even closer with
each of these entities in the future.

We further wish to state that our recent meeting with the new Minister of Sports, Minister Yoland Bain- Horsford and ongoing relations with the Covid-19 Committee is testament to our ongoing goals of building partnership with state and private entities.

The Grenada Football Association therefore wish that there may be an amicable resolution to the current matter relating to the 11th edition of the Waggy T Super Knockout and wish the two finalists Paradise FC International and Camerhogne FC all the best in the 2020 edition of the tournament.
