Grenada’s Curfew will be extended for at least another two weeks.
That’s according to health minister Nickolas Steele who was speaking to reporters today during the weekly virtual post-cabinet briefing.
Minister Steele says the curfew measures are expected to remain in place for at least 2 weeks between 10pm and 5am.
In making reference to the spike in COVID-19 cases across the region the Health Minister explained that Grenada’s health system and border control have undergone some strengthening.
Minister Steele indicated that we cannot let our guard down and we should err on the side of caution.
Over the last 24 hours, Grenada has recorded no new cases of COVID-19.
There are 11 persons in self-isolation and 270 in quarantine.
The total number of cases since the virus was first identified stands at 148, and one death.
