MBIA Met Office Volcanic Ash Advisory

Continuing to monitor the activities at the Soufriere volcano and its impact on the region, the Met Office at the MBIA says, La Soufriere volcano remains active in a state of unrest.

According to Forecaster, Andre Charles, volcanic ash emissions as it’s been noticed in Grenada can still be expected.

Charles says as the Met Office continues to observe and analyze the activities of the La Soufriere volcanic eruption and the Saharan Dust, persons with respiratory illnesses and Mariners, in particular,  transiting nearby waters should continue to practice the necessary precautions.
