We have reports of a rather ugly incident on the week-end, where Police came under attack.
As a result, three persons are in police custody.
We understood that lawmen attached to the Eastern Division were called to end a party in the Mirabeau, St. Andrew area, and, on their arrival, they were greeted with stones and bottles being hurled at them.
One police officer is said to have been treated for minor injuries.
Pictures on social media show damage to the police vehicle.
The Police are expected to lay charges shortly.
It’s the second incident of such nature within a rather short period of time Police have been called in to enforce the COVID curfew-time law and been met with hostility.
