Meanwhile the Grenada movement has sent out a congratulatory message to the Saint Lucia labor party.
The Grenada Movement (TGM) says team SLP has been called upon to govern at a time when St. Lucia and indeed the entire region, is fraught with challenges, many of them brought on or exacerbated by the onslaught of the pandemic.
TGM says this is a time for bold, responsible, and accountable leadership.
The party says the People of St Lucia have spoken resoundingly, sending a clear message of their desire for a change towards a more equitable society.
TGM says its looking forward to working with SLP, not only to develop closer relations between the countries, but also in the cause of prosperity and peace of the people of our Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States.
