An awareness campaign put on by the SPOTLIGHT Initiative is currently underway here in Grenada, as various stakeholders are engaging in a week-long workshop.

Violence against women and girls is said to be one of the most widespread, persistent and devastating human rights violations in the world today.
Here in Grenada, the initiative which was launched last year will contribute to the achievement of gender equality, peace, social inclusion and protection of human rights, which are catalytic for sustainable development.
